The latest development on "Kingdom Hearts 3" reveals that Square Enix is poised to launch a new trailer for the popular RPG at its own E3 booth in June. However, fans should not expect the release date this year.

There is both a good news and bad for fans of the KH series. The good news is that recent reports online say the same about a possible new trailer for "Kingdom Hearts 3" to be shown at the upcoming E3 2017, which will be held on June 13-15 at Los Angeles Convention Center in California.

The said new trailer was supposedly released in April, however, Square Enix withdrew the plan. Instead, it now wants to launch the teaser at its presentation at the trade show, most likely at the game developer's own booth.

It can be recalled that game director Tetsuya Nomura expressed his thoughts of showing the progress in the development of the game at an event somewhere at E3 perfectly fits the bill. It won't be long now for fans to feast their eyes on the new trailer of the game next month.

But here's the bad news. Fans are advised not to expect the release date to happen this year as reports say that it will be pushed further to 2018.

To also make sure that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be launched on time without delay, Nomura and his team will be making a few cuts to the game. It appears that both Disney and the fans have become impatient in waiting for it since its initial announcement two years ago.

It is not known what sort of cuts will be done and Comicbook wrote that it is possible to see a world or two to be excluded from the main game. Then, these will be coming to the game through expansion or DLC packs post-launch so that the waiting won't take a longer time.

Everyone can look forward to seeing a peek at some new levels to be featured in "Kingdom Hearts 3" in June. Then, more of the official reveal will follow at GamesCom and Tokyo Game Show, leading to the official launch of the game.

Apart from "Kingdom Hearts 3", Square Enix will also likely tease something new for "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" gameplay, the next "Tomb Raider" title and video games coming to Nintendo Switch.
