The OnePlus 5 smartphone is expected to challenge the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone.

The dimensions of the upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone will be similar to the OnePlus 3T's; being only 0.1 inches thinner.

The OnePlus device will feature a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Android Central reported that OnePlus 5 will run on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, probably with OnePlus's own 'Oxygen OS' skin.

Other rumored features include a 4,000 mAh battery, 64GB of internal storage, 8GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The smartphone is expected to come with a microSD card for storage expansion to 128GB and dual nano SIM card slots.

There are speculations that the OnePlus 5 smartphone will sport a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera. The device will reportedly have a mono speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone can fast charge only when the screen is off. The S8 uses the same Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge technology as the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S6 series.

The Samsung device should take one hour and 37 minutes to juice up the 3,000 mAh battery from zero to full charge, Phandroid reported. If the S8 is in use, it will show the fast charging notification.

However, to reach full battery life, it will take three hours. If users need their Galaxy S8+ or S8 charged as fast as possible, they should allow it charge without using it.

Furthermore, customers who contacted the electronics company Samsung for help regarding the audio problem have been asked to clear the cache partition of the smartphone, and do a factory reset for the Galaxy S8.

They were also advised to enter the device's developer mode and activate the 'Prevent USB Audio Routing' option. A few users were able to replicate the audio problem by shaking their smartphone vigorously.

It means that the issue is not due to software. According to users, the issue is hardware-related, maybe due tp loose contact inside the Samsung device. Users can also press the back cover of their device, particularly about an inch above the device's speakers till the audio returns.

However, it is important to note that too much pressure may cause more harm to the Samsung Galaxy S8.
