Game director Tetsuya Nomura a perfectionist on his own right, has increased the development cycle of "Kingdom Hearts 3" and that a rushed trailer originally slated for April will now debut later this year instead.

Furthermore, the Osaka-based team is finding production of Kingdom Hearts 3 an exhausting effort, with things not being helped by "Final Fantasy XV’s" troubled production cycle over the past few years, PlayStation Universe reported.

As for the new trailer, several rumors are making rounds that Square Enix could showcase the new "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo next month.

While the contents of the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer is still relatively unknown, gaming fans will be excited to find out more game details and possibly a release date for the sequel at E3 2017, WCCFTech reported.

Square Enix stated that "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy 7" remake will not release within this year and will likely beyond that either in 2018 or the next.

There are also reports that more "Final Fantasy" character are coming to "Kingdom Hearts 3" as Famitsu conducted a survey revealing five names that fans want in the sequel. The choices include Noctis from "Final Fantasy XV," Claire "Lightning" Farron from "Final Fantasy XIII," Bartz from "Final Fantasy V," Zidane from "Final Fantasy iX" and a Chocobo.

The poll accounted for more than 500 votes, and Noctis emerged victorious by a margin of 36. Could this mean that gaming fans might see Noctis alongside Sora in "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon?

Gaming fans will likely find that out more once Square Enix present "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2017.

Square Enix will announce the official release date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon for PS4 and Xbox One.
