Oukitel, a Chinese phone maker, is releasing a flagship device in June. The Android smartphone device is distinct from other brands because of its massive battery.

With the dawn of Android smartphones, battery life has been sacrificed for performance nad convenience. However, Oukitel aims to change things with the impending release of their K10000 Pro.

The upcoming model is said to be the successor of last year's K10000. Similar to its predecessor, the K10000 Pro will be powered by a 10,000 mAh battery that is expected to last up 10 to 15 days per charge, according to Engadget.

The charging time of the said smartphone is projected to be around three hours to be fully charged. Although it may sound counterintuitive as compared to the shift of the mobile industry to fast charging technology, such amount of time is somehow reasonable with the given massive battery equipped with the said device.

The said battery life is really impressive in today's standard. As the most consumers would agree upon, today's smartphones are sucking up a lot of battery juices to support complex phone activities.

The 10,000 mAh is indeed massive for an Android device. Such innovation will dwarf the likes of Asus ZenFone Max that only has half of Oukitel K10000 Pro's battery life. Taken together, Google's Pixel XL and Samsung's Galaxy S8 Plus will have no match as compared to the K10000's power capacity.

However, although battery like that of the K10000 Pro is very ideal, it would still be left behind as compared to other smartphone aspects. Although unconfirmed, The Verge claimed that Oukitel's upcoming release might likely sport a 5.5-inch 1080p Gorilla Glass display.

In terms of the hardware powering the device, it will be supported by 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and will be powered by a MediaTek octa-core 1.5Ghz processor. However, it is still too early to conclude on the fate of the Chinese brand; other features are yet to be revealed which makes the wait more exciting.
