According to IGN (via WCCFTech), Talion can get new pieces of equipment and loots by defeating several strong and legendary enemies. Players can change Talion's gears and weapons from sword, dagger, ranged weapon, armour, cape, and ring.

Each piece of gear looks unique to the character, and has its own level. In addition, some equipment come with buffs that can only be used once the associated challenge has been completed.

Some items also have sockets, which players can use to equip gems. Rings appear to carry most of the options, though, as players can attach runes to them and come with their own benefits. All these options focused builds possible, since they can pick and choose what serves their own play style.

These attributes can cause sufficient damage to enemies and bosses, as well as earn more attributes and loots for gamers to customize Talion with in "Middle-earth: Shadow of War."
