According to reports, Xperia C6, which seems to be smaller than the Xperia C5 Ultra, is almost bezel-less.

The upcoming smartphone is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor and will feature a 1080p screen. If reports are anything to go by, Sony Xperia C6 will come with many feature upgrades over the Xperia C5 Ultra.

For starters, Sony Xperia C5 Ultra was released in August last year. It features a 6.00-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

The smartphone is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor and has 2GB of RAM. The Xperia C5 Ultra has 16GB of internal storage that owners can expand through a microSD card.

The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel front shooter for selfies and a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back, according to a Digital Trends report.

The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has a 2930mAh non removable battery and it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The smartphone weighs 187.00 grams and measures 164.20mm x 79.60mm x 8.20mm.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, FM and 4G. Sensors on the mobile phone include ambient light sensor, accelerometer,  gyroscope and proximity sensor.

Meanwhile, according to Xperia Blog, the Xperia C5 Ultra and Sony Xperia C4 smartphones have begun getting their Android 5.1 Lollipop update. In addition, the update is available for the dual-SIM versions of the devices. The  Xperia C5 Ultra and Sony Xperia C4 were released in August and May last year.

The electronics company recommends owners to download them over Wi-Fi because the updates are heavy. Owners can also manually update their devices through the Sony PC Companion tool.

To check for over-the-air updates, navigate to Settings> About Phone> Software update.

The update brings performance improvements and stability. The Android 5.1 Lollipop update brings high definition voice calling on the device.
