Viewers of the speed test battle between the Samsung Galaxy S and Apple iPhone 7 Plus ought to assume that the Galaxy S8 would have the advantage. The reason is the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset. However, the iPhone 7 Plus' A10 Fusion processor finished the test in almost half the time of the Galaxy S8, based on Tom's Guide.

The speed test battle is a unique type of video where it's interesting to watch how each smartphone reacts as the applications were opened. However, it did not essentially measure the speed. As a result, it is considered as a bad speed test. To those who owns and is planning to purchase the smartphones, they can try out themselves to evaluate the performance of each phone, according to a report by BGR.

The video of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus has shown that it's a good reason to stick with the Apple iPhone 7 Plus instead of the Galaxy S8. Furthermore, EverythingApplePro decided to repeat the test and it appears that the Galaxy S8's memory management had cleared every application that was opened. On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 7 Plus did not clear all the apps but retained all of them opened in the background. This indicates that it did not have to make some reloads in any software.
