New updates for "Destiny 2" will feature the possible release dates for the DLC expansions and the beta test coming to Canada.

It seems that the release dates for "Destiny 2's" DLC expansions have been revealed as a GameSpot employee shared documents on the sequel's supposed post-launch schedules.

According to the documents, the first DLC expansion for "Destiny 2" will launch on the Winter 2017, while the second expansion is scheduled on the Spring 2018. The Expansions offer brand new story missions, co-operative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armour, and gear, WCCFTech reported.

Previous reports hinted that the expansions will feature the Osiris and Rasputin add-ons in "Destiny 2." Osiris was supposed to play a major part in the original "Destiny’s" story, but ultimately did not make the cut, and there is a lot of interesting lore surrounding Rasputin as well, so it will be good to see them being included in the sequel.

Meanwhile, it seems that the beta test for "Destiny 2" may be headed to Canada soon after a supposed claim that beta will not be granted access in the country.

A Canadian gamer discovered that "Destiny 2" pre-order purchases through Amazon would not give access to the game’s upcoming beta. Fortunately, after sharing the situation on Reddit, Bungie’s community developer, David “DeeJ” Dague responded saying the issue will be resolved shortly for all "Destiny 2" pre orders.

It seems that its was a misunderstanding on the part of the Amazon, and likely a slight glitch in the system between Bungie and retailer store.

Bungie announced the beta test for "Destiny 2" along with the game's official launch date on September. Participating retailers will provide an early Beta Access code as they are available to pre-orderers, which can then be redeemed on Bungie.net via a Bungie account. Later, players will notified via email that their download code is ready.

"Destiny 2" will be available on Sept. 8 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
