New updates for "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will feature the Court of Owls and the sequel might not be in the works.

It seems that the rumored "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" may not be a reality after all as several gamers claim that the game could be fake. Another Twitter username KnightWing tweeted his opinion on "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" as the user is convinced that it might not happen unless Warner Bros. Interactive officially announce it.

The first citing of the "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" came from IGN France which indicated a March 8 announcement. It is hinted "Batman: Akham Insurgency's" plot will take place three years after the events of "Batman: Arkham Origin" as players will take on the role of Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson) in the game.

It will involve a massive jail break from both Black Gate Prison and Arkham Asylum, as the GCPD blocks off a segment of Gotham City. Batman and Robin will be facing the Court of Owls and there Talons, as the organization has been taken over by Owlman.

"Batman: Arkham Insugency" will have the same game engine used in "Batman: Arkham Knight" and has been in development since 2014.

A new map location will feature a coastal region of Gotham City and its size is equivalent of the three islands featured in "Batman Arkham Knight", although the interiors have been substantially expanded so players will be able to get inside most of the buildings.

The Wayne Mansion and Batcave can now be explored and the Batmobile gameplay has been changed as it will no longer feature a battle mode similar in "Arkham Knight" and will consist of car chases, but the missiles, power winch and the EMP device still remains, along with new features.

"Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will feature a dual combat system, minus the dual takedown as it will be replaced with special moves and combos for each character. The sequel will also feature a new skill tree and a 1-on-1 battles.

Rumored DC characters appearing in "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will include Maxie Zeus, Dollmaker, Killer Moth, Anarky, Two-Face, Blockbuster, Ventriloquist, Cornelius Stirk, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Dusan al Ghul, Mad Monk, Dala, The Riddler and The Joker.

Alfred Pennyworth and Lucious Fox will return to aid Batman and Robin in the main story, while Barbabra Gordon will help players during side missions, WCCFTech reported.

For now, gaming fans will have to wait for Warner Bros. for an official announcement regarding "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" soon.
