Recent news and update for "One Piece" center on a rumored possibility that Toei Animation might be releasing a new storyline for Luffy alone. Also, there are speculations that the trailer for the upcoming episode would not be captivating and has failed to meet positive remarks.

Despite the rumors coming about, there has been no definitive proof that a new storyline is being planned by Toei Animation, the tech studio behind "One Piece." On the other hand, Comic Book reports that after a brief filler arc, the anime is getting back to the canon with a new storyline that will pit Monkey D. Luffy against a longtime friend of his and Toei Animation is preparing to sail deep into the "Whole Cake Island" arc as its first episode debuts in a few days.

On the show's website, a slew of character images and a key visual were shared with fans. The individual images for "One Piece" shows each of the Vinsmoke siblings, and each resembles Sanji in their own way, reports the same post.

On a different note, while the rumored storyline remains unsettled, the current episode of "One Piece" mange is set on a more serious tone. While the previous chapters featured all the preparations done behind the scenes, the upcoming chapter will finally see the wedding getting started.

Meanwhile, Sanji needs to have his emotions in check because  on the previous chapter, it was seen that he is now falling for Pudding's charm despite knowing that she plans to kill him and his entire family. Also, the setback for "One Piece" 862 manga is the delayed release because the team is currently on hiatus and no issue will come out for this week. As for the rumor that the trailer for "One Piece" was not captivating, that speculation has already been debunked.
