According to reports, the Nexus 7 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 along with 4GB of RAM. This is not surprising since the recent trend in most mobile technology is to involve powerful chipsets in their devices. The device will also come with 64GB of internal storage. Furthermore, it will also go with a navigation button and a launcher similar to Google's flagship device. It will be running on the latest Android Nougat.

Aside from the hardware specs, the Nexus 7 is also expected to have a huge design and will sport bigger than a 7-inch display frame. Apple has also a 9.7-inch iPad and an upcoming 10.5-inch display to be release in the future which can be worth noting. Furthermore, the iPad Air 2 and the iPad 2017 is also rumored to sport the same dimensions. It will be practical for Google to launch their device within that range of size while show-off the super thin bezels feature and bigger screen-to-body ratio.

It is expected that HTC will be manufacturing the upcoming Nexus 7. It can be remembered that HTC also made the Google Pixel. Reports also claim that Google and HTC recently signed a deal to create the next generation Pixel phones. It may be possible that the same company will also take care in the making of the highly-anticipated Nexus 7 from Google.
