Chinese tech giant maker Huawei released its latest flagship smartphone, P10, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 earlier this month. However, there is still no official announcement regarding the arrival of Honor Note phablet's next iteration. Nevertheless, several leaks have surfaced online, revealing how powerful the Huawei Honor Note 9 could be.

According to Android Headlines, the latest leaked images and specs details of the Huawei Honor Note 9 show that the smartphone maker is giving its upcoming device an almost entirely metallic body. This can be a good thing as it will not only add to the phablet's sleekness, but also making it more protected. The Honor Note 9 has been compared to the iPhone 7 Plus due to its metallic appearance and pretty huge size.

The leaked photos of the Huawei Honor Note 9 also revealed the phablet's camera department, having support for dual camera setup with LED flash located at the middle. This kind of setup is similar to previously released products from the Honor series, Honor V9 and V8 Pro. The device will sport a 12MP rear shooter with 4K support.

Comparing it to the Huawei Honor Note 8 with a wide 6.6-inch screen, the Honor Note 9 is expected to be a gargantuan device as well, or perhaps even bigger. Located below its very wide screen display is a special fingerprint sensor, which is similar to its placement on the Honor Note 8. This also confirms that the Huawei Honor Note 9 will have no physical buttons at the front to give way for a wider screen area.

The core specifications of the Huawei Honor Note 9 include the tech company's very own HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset. The latest Huawei microchip version comes with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores plus the other four supporting ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 1.84GHz and 2.36GHz, respectively. The device will have up to 6GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the phablet will have an extended battery lifespan with its 4,000mAh battery.

It is more likely that the Huawei Honor Note 9 will be revealed this August, given that its predecessor was launched in the same month last year. The device will be available in the market by September.
