New details for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will feature a possible PS4 releas date set and a more simplistic gameplay in the sequel.

Capcom Europe COO Stuart Turner revealed some vital details for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's" development as he stated that the company is "in a very good spot" right now despite saying that "Street Fighter 5" did not have the greatest launch in the franchise's history.

However, Turner plans to make the fighting genre more unique and entertaining as "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will have more "simplistic" approach in terms of gameplay and features. Turner believed that "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" can be easily picked up by players and citing that the sequel has the most memorable characters from the heroes and villains from Marvel comics to the beloved characters in Capcom games, PC Gamer reported.

In other news, a new speculation has been hinted regarding the possible release date for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

Capcom first aired the announcement trailer for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" at the PlayStation Experience event last year with a 2017 release date. Die-hard fans of the game franchise begun speculating that "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" could launch in the third or fourth quarter this year.

Unless, the Japanese game developers has actually been developing the title for a huge amount of time and thus has nearly all of the work done on it, there is still a great deal of work to do for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" before the game can be released in all gaming platforms, Segment Next reported.

Previous reports hinted that new characters Mega Man X and Captain Marvel will have a huge role in the plot of "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" and joining them are returning characters Ryu, Iron Man, Captain America and Morrigan.

"Street Fighter" creator Yoshinori Ono teased fans that more concrete details for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will be announce very soon.

"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
