'Final Fantasy XV' Characters Noctis, Luna, Prompto to Crossover in 'Mobius: Final Fantasy'; Square Enix Explains Photography Development [VIDEO]

New updates for "Final Fantasy XV" will have three character crossing over "Mobius: Final Fantasy" and details on how photography works in the sequel.

Square Enix announced that "Mobius: Final Fantasy" will have a crossover event involving characters from the latest sequel, "Final Fantasy XV" in a special "Final Fantasy XV Collaboration" event.

The event will last for 15 days in "Mobius: Final Fantasy" as players encounter some of the famed characters in "Final Fantasy XV" such as Noctis, Luna, Prompto and many more, lending their powers to the Warrior of Light with ability cards.

Players can also find the "Unbreakable Bonds: Final Fantasy XV" supreme card that grants the Royal Arms ability. They can also summon one ability card each day at no cost, and there will be six different "Final Fantasy XV" stamps and ability cards to earn going forward. Players can even get Cindy and the Regalia as login bonuses.

In addition to those changes, there whave been two new jobs added to the game: Berserker and Rogue, which offer various new abilities and other edges in fights.

Square Enix recently collaborated with "Final Fantasy VII," which had Cloud Strife and Sephiroth in the game. Players can check these "Final Fantasy XV" features in "Mobius: Final Fantasy" up until March 23, Crunchyroll reported.

In other news, Square Enix explain further details on Prompto's photography features in "Final Fantasy" as the official GDC YouTube channel streamed the video development of the topic.

Square Enix’s party AI lead designer Prasert Prasertvithyakarn explained how Prompto's Auto Snapshots in "Final Fantasy XV" as it is one of the most talked about features within the gaming community.

"Final Fantasy XV" added a photo feature in an update after the its launch last year, as Square Enix eventually let players take photos outside of battles, with Prompto still maintaining his shutterbug tendencies during combat.

Of course, while Prompto’s auto-photo feature in "Final Fantasy XV" is a fantastic creation, as it allows the game to take over and surprise fans with perspectives of the game they never thought of before, but the concept of taking selfies in video games is not really all that new as several titles like "Grand Theft Auto 5" and "Watch Dogs 2" have featured talking selfies, Gamerant reported.

Previous reports hinted that Gladioulus could be a playable character in the updated Chapter 13 in "Final Fantasy XV" as game producer Haruyoshi Sawatari stated he will add scenes depicting Gladiolus and Ignis's perspective during the event of the chapter.

In addition, Sawatari stated that the three magics in the ring of Lucii are now completely powerful in the game.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
