Principal designer Scott Mercer stated that they are testing changes regarding victory conditions in "Overwatch" maps like Hanamura, Volskaya, Eichenwalde and King's Row. He explained that these maps ended up tie scores more often than before, especially when players are in defense.

As a result, Mercer and the "Overwatch" team will have an aggressive approuch in tiebreaking on the PTR to create a few "ties" as possible. A team no longer has to capture one more objective than their opponent to secure a victory. Rather, the team with the greater percentage will determine the victor, if the score is even.

Players can still knock down the capture percentage, but the maximum capture percentage will remain, even after the decay. However, forcing the percent to decay will still help the team win if they can outdo the opponent in the next round, PVPLine reported.

In other news, Blizzard Entertainment revealed patch the latest PTR patch notes in "Overwatch," which featured changes for character Lucio, Ana, Bastion and Mei.

Lucio will have the biggest changes among the characters mentioned, as Lucio's Sonic Amplifier will have a projectile speed of 40 to 50 and alternate fire will have vertical orientation knocking opponents back. His Crossfade will now have decrease in song area effect radius from 30 meters to 10 meters, but a temporary in-game visual has been added to illustrate this radius.

The Healing Song is now increased at 50 percent, but the Sound Barrier has decreased from 30 meters to 20 meters. Lucio's Wall Run has now increased by 30 percent and now receives a burst of speed when leaping off a wall.

As for the rest of the characters, Ana no longer cocks her rifle after throwing her grenade. The brightness of Bastion's golden gun has been toned down when the BlizzCon skin is equipped and a fix on a bug for Mei's pinky, when it bends awkwardly when her Chang’e and Luna skins equipped, VG 24/7 reported.

Blizzard Entertainment will also launch the new character Orisa in "Overwatch's" roster this week on March 21. Orisa is the creation of an 11-year-old robotics engineering prodigy, Efi Oladele. Designed as a peacekeeping robot, Orisa is technically the game’s youngest hero.

The developers describes Orisa's role as “the central anchor of her team” who can protect her teammates with a barrier, launch graviton charges to slow enemies and supercharge her allies to bolster their damage.

"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
