Cupertino-based tech giant Apple will allegedly unveil a new 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 2017 model next week.

The upcoming iPad Pro model is expected carry the same specifications as the present version. The Apple tablet will be powered by the A10X processor, according to 9to5Mac.

It is likely that Apple will reveal its new batch of products between March 20 to 24, MacRumors reported. However, no devices were particularly mentioned. Earlier reports suggest that Apple could release three new iPads in the forthcoming weeks.

The devices will reportedly retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack. Furthermore, it is likely that the new iPads will include an entry-level variant that will target the education sector. The iPad could sell for $299. The iPad Air 2, on the other hand, begins at $399.

Apple iPad Air 2, which was released in October 2014, sports a 9.70-inch screen with 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution. The Apple tablet, which comes with 2GB of RAM, is powered by A8X chipset. Furthermore, it has 16GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded.

The iPad Air 2 sports an 8 MP primary camera on the back and a 1.2 MP front camera for selfies. The Apple device runs on the iOS 8.1 and weighs 437.00 grams. The iPad Air 2 measures 240.00mm x 169.50mm x 6.10mm.

There are rumors that the new iPad models will feature an edge-to-edge design.

The upcoming iPads will come with 12 MP iSight primary cameras with the updated Apple Pencil stylus, True Tone displays, quad microphones, quad speakers, and True Tone flash. Apple is likely to unveil a new iPhone along with the new iPad 2017 line-up at the event.

However, it is not clear if the company will unveil the iPhone 8, iPhone 7s Plus, and iPhone 7s. It is believed that a refreshed iPhone SE is also in the mix.
