As revealed in Kairi's lines, Lea had a habit of looking long and hard at Kairi's face as he tries to remember someone from his past, while Xion struggles to remember who are these two individuals that are dearest to her.

It is possible that the person that Lea tries to remember is in fact Xion as they were best friends along with Roxas during their time in the Organization XIII during "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days" story.
