The settlement feature in "Fallout 4" is one of the most exciting additions in the sequel and the creative toolkit has grown in power and scope thanks to both official Bethesda DLC and unofficial mods.

Players with a lot of creative imagination have crafted everything from Bioshock-themed settlements to fancy multi-tier apartment buildings using the "Fallout 4's" many settlement creation tools.

So far, the only way to share these creations in "Fallout 4" has been with screen shots or gameplay streams from both PS4 and Xbox One consoles, and in the PC platforms. Now modders have a way to make it much easier to share settlement creations with other players.

The "Transfer Settlement" mod will allow players to export their settlement creations and offer the blueprints to other players within "Fallout 4." Doing this will not only let player share their creativity from others, but also gain more access to other player's blueprints and mod creations.

The new mod can be installed from the NexusMods and after installing the mod, players will receive a holotape to their inventory called [Settings] Transfer Settlements, which they will often find under the sub-menu “Setting Holotapes” without the holotape itself having the [Settings] prefix if their using item sorting mods.

It can also be crafted at Chemistry Stations under the Utility section in "Fallout 4" as all features this mod offers are available through the single holotape.

In other news, gaming fans are still wondering as to when will Bethesda have "Fallout 4" be compatible to the HTC Vive.

Although there has been no word regarding "Fallout 4" being available to the HTC Vive, executive producer Todd Howard shared some insights on the development of the sequel's virtual reality features.

Howard told Gixel that the development for the VR features in "Fallout 4" are doing great, but there is still a lot of work to be done. However, Todd stated that gamers can enjoy the VR experience in "Fallout 4" from start to finish.

The game producer also explained the challenges of developing a VR version of Fallout 4, noting that the interface is working great but there are still working on the locomotion, which is one of the biggest issues to overcome for VR games.

"Fallout 4" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
