Android 7.1.2, an incremental update for Android 7.1 Nougat OS is expected to be available in April.

In January, the search engine giant had released the beta version for Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, and Pixel C. The incremental update carries bug fixes, enhancements for carriers and users. It would be also bringing new gestures for Nexus 5X, Tech Droider reported. At that time, it was announced that it would take a couple of months for the public release to be available. Google has not released a changelog for the update.

According to Android Central, the largest carrier from Canada - Rogers has announced that it would be releasing VoLTE support for Pixel phones with the Android security updates for March month. It is rumored that Rogers had been testing VoLTE for Pixel phones along with Android 7.1.2 beta. The carrier has notified the users of Pixel phones that an update would be arriving on April 3.

However, Rogers have not directly revealed that Android 7.1.2 will be arriving on April 3. The reason why these smartphones will not be getting the software update is that both have completed the promised period of two years for receiving software updates.
