Dell is now offering its latest convertible hybrid laptop in the market called the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. It does not only offer more functions, but impressive specs and superb features as well.

Dell modified and integrated a removable 360-degree fulcrum between the popular Dell XPS 13 laptop's body and screen. As a result, the all-new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop came to birth.

Compared to its laptop variant, the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid comes with a thinner body. Moreover, it weighs 1.24 kg -- way lighter than the touchscreen version. According to Trusted Review, the 360-degree hinge that is necessary to the device contributed to its weight.

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop uses the carbon fiber composite on its palm rest. Additionally, it creates an illusion of a bigger Gorilla Glass-coated screen thru its slim bezels. Furthermore, the device utilizes two USB-C ports. The left USB Type-C port is used for charging while the USB Type-C port on the right supports full-speed ThunderBolt 3 where users can connect high-performance peripherals.

A 7th-gen Intel Kaby Lake Core i5-7Y54 processor powers the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop. It has an Intel HD GPU, a 4GB RAM, and a 128GB solid-state drive. Benchmark tests claim that this latest hybrid laptop's battery life can last up to 15 hours. However, Venture Beat details in their report that the device can only last an average of five hours. With this, it is such a pale comparison to its laptop version which can last up to 22 hours.

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop is priced at an entry-level price of $1000. Compared to its base model Dell XPS 13's price, the hybrid's price is higher at $200. Meanwhile, the variant priced at $1,300 comes with a Corei7, an 8GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop was launched at the CES 2017 wherein it garnered praises and interests from tech enthusiasts.
