Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Dell XPS 2013 have surprised tech markets all over the world by emerging as the best laptops of 2015. Apple and Samsung, who were the undefeated champion products for the last five years, have to cede space to Microsoft and Dell.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 was a decided winner. Forbes has branded it a laptop-tablet hybrid and asserts that its USP lies in its versatility. The laptop comes with a Surface Pen that has an eraser button. The Pen allows you to draw, draft and scribble and is handier than a mouse. The display is brilliant as it has maintained 3:2 aspect ratios with a 12.3 inch screen and a 2736 x 1824 resolution. The keyboard is a delight as it has a glass track-pad with adequate space between keys and allows for minimal noise. The battery runs long, making the laptop-cum-tablet a prize purchase.

Last year was a season of improvements since late 2015 when Dell unveiled its XPS 13. It is a 13-inch laptop designed for smooth portability. Digital Trends claim that the laptop has set a new standard for quality. It has got all its basic right. Besides the lightweight, the laptop is a powerhouse with a very reliable battery. Laptop has adopted a bezel-less resolution. However, the display offers an improved color accuracy and amazing contrast. The resolution is very sharp. It runs on a standard core processor and is fast.

Given the vast improvements and pioneering styles, it would be a tough call to choose between either of the two products. But whichever product one buys from the two, either would be worth its value and more.
