T-Mobile and other carriers are offering a free Google Home speaker on the purchase of the LG G6 smartphone

On February 26, the electronics company LG announced the LG G6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Let's take a look at the specs of the LG G6 and Pixel XL.

The LG device features a sleek metal design and boasts IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. It sports thin bezels around the display, USB Type-C and a dual rear camera.

The Pixel XL sports a premium metal build and has wider bezels compared to LG G6. The LG device gets an edge due to its thinner bezels and waterproofing. Additionally, the LG G6 smartphone is lighter and smaller than the Pixel XL, despite having a bigger screen.

The LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch display with 2,880 x 1,440-pixel resolution, according to a Verge report. Furthermore, it boasts HDR with support for HDR 10 standards and Dolby Vision. The Pixel XL smartphone, on the other hand, sports a 5.5-inch screen with a QHD resolution. The Pixel XL features a curved display and the LG device sports a flat screen.

Some of the other features of the LG G6 smartphone include 3,330 mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, 64 GB or 32 GB of native storage space and 4 GB of RAM.

Features of the Pixel XL smartphone include 128 GB and 32 GB native storage configurations, 4 GB of RAM, Snapdragon 821 chipset and a 3,450 mAh battery. The Pixel XL and LG G6 have USB Type-C for data transfers and charging and rear-mounted fingerprint sensors. In addition, the two devices have 3.5 mm headphone jacks.

The LG G6 has two 13 MP cameras. One camera has an f/1.8 aperture with phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilization, whereas the other camera features an f/2.4 aperture. Also, the LG G6 smartphone has a 5 MP selfie cam with a 100-degree wide-angle lens and an f/2.2 aperture.

The Google smartphone, on the other hand, features a 12.3 MP rear camera with laser autofocus, phase detection autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture, Engadget reported. The Pixel XL smartphone features an 8 MP selfie cam with an f/2.4 aperture. The Pixel XL as well as the LG G6 run Android N out of the box.
