Recently, a leaked photo of the alleged Moto Z (2017) had surfaced that it would be arriving with a few design changes. A new photo of the rumored phone has surfaced that also hints the same changes in design.

The Moto Z (2017) leaked photo that had surfaced earlier this week revealed that the smartphone would be sporting a dual-tone flash for its selfie camera. The original phone came with a regular LED flash for its selfie snapper.

The same photo also revealed that the design of the Home button housing the fingerprint scanner now sports an oval design. The Moto Z from 2016 has a square shaped Home button. The Moto Z (2017) also has a "moto" long between the screen and the Home button. However, the design of the phone is similar to it's the original Moto Z, The Android Soul reported.

A new photo that is said to be taken during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event held between Feb. 27to March 2 shows an alleged Moto Z (2017) phone with the same design changes that are mentioned. It reportedly confirms that phone shown in the image sitting on a game pad Moto Mod is the alleged Moto Z (2017).

Moto Z (2017) was rumored to have been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site in January with specs like Snapdragon 835 chip, 4 GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

Another piece of evidence that confirms SD 835 chipset for the smartphone is that Sprint had used a Motorola phone at MWC 2017 to test its Gigabit LTE service. A press release from Sprint revealed that it had demonstrated the Gigabit LTE service using a flagship Motorola smartphone running on Snapdragon 835 that also features a Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, Android Central reported.

Last year, Moto Z was exclusively available through Verizon in the U.S., but now it seems its successor will be also available through Sprint. The Moto Z (2017) is also expected to come with an enhanced rear camera for dim light photography.
