"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" comes with a vast open map which takes Link on an exciting adventure, and players know that it is important to manage the inventory before it gets filled with clothes, weapons, ingredients and more.

Link can carry only a couple of items, but because of Korok Seeds, he can increase the inventory slots and hold more gear. There are 900 Koroks hidden in different mini challenges. The player can bring a Korok to Hestu on the way from the Dueling Peaks Stable to Kakariko. Hetsu moves to Woodlands Stable and permanently lives in the Korok Forest. When a player brings Korok to Hestu, he will get a Korok Seed which he can use to expand inventory slots.

The first Korok Seed the player uses will open a slot in the inventory and upgrading a second slot will cost two Korok Seeds, a third will cost three and so on. Players need to collect a lot of Korok Seeds to maximize inventory slots. About 441 Korok Seeds will unlock all slots. Upon completion, the player gets a unique item called Hestu's Gift which allows the player to trigger the signature dance of the creature at will. Read below to solve the various puzzle types needed to find all Koroks.

In Blue Circle Natural Hiding Spots, Koroks can be found hidden in natural objects. Players should check small rock formations on mountain peaks or ice blocks which must be melted, under a rock slab or behind destructible pots, rocks and more. In Green Circle Tree Patterns, players should identify a group of trees with fruit which grows in a particular pattern. Trees side-by-side should be checked, and the fruits should be removed until the trees have an equal amount of fruit. If the player solves the puzzle, he will receive a Korok. The same goes for a row of torches where he can set an unlit torch on fire to complete the pattern.

In Red Circle Archery, the player should pop a cluster of balloons in the sky using his arrows to collect Korok. The balloons may appear when the player stands beside a marker like a colored pinwheel. The Archery puzzles could be hard if balloons float erratically. Balloons may come in the form of apples at the tree at westernmost hut in Lurelin Village where an apple must be shot between palm fruits. Meanwhile, in Yellow Circle Boulders, the player should move away large boulders to uncover Korok. Sometimes, these boulders are on top of a hill and should be rolled off a cliff. Cast Stasis on the builder and hit it to make it roll. Some boulders involve metallic ones and Magnesis should be used to arrange it.

In Purple Circle Circle, on the other hand, objects in a circle arrangement like rock formations from water form a target for Link to aim at. The goal is to throw a rock in the circle. Once the player hits the bullseye, he can take a Korok. This may also involve water lilies. In Blue Triangle Cube Pattern, the player should arrange small metal cubes to symmetrical shapes to solve the puzzle. A missing cube may sometimes be found first and Magnesus should be used.

Meanwhile, in Green Triangle Food Offering, a row of statues will come with small trays in front, which should be filled with the right food to receive a Korok. Apples are good but Yiga clan statues only take bananas. Other puzzles require an egg. In Red Triangle Race or Horse Hurdles, if a player finds a tree stump that has a leaf symbol on it, he should hop on the stump to start a race. He should race through a ring before the countdown finishes. The puzzle can come in a series of fences which the player should jump over while riding a horse.

In Yellow Triangle Flower Trails, if a player finds a single daffodil in a grassy plain and it disappears when approached, that flower is part of a trail which will lead him to the Korok. The flowers may also come in a sequence of numbers. In Purple Triangle Leaves with Fairy Dust, a trail of leaves with glowing fairy dust may lead to a Korok. These may be located high up in the trees.

Lastly, in White Triangle Rock Patterns, small rocks could be arranged in patterns like a spiral, cross or circle. The pattern may sometimes be incomplete because a rock is missing or out of place. If a player finds the missing rock, he will get a Korok. Sometimes, the missing rock is found in the direction from the gap in the pattern.
