"NieR: Automata" is an action role-playing video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix for PlayStation 4 and PC.

The latest details for NieR: Automata will feature superior image quality and frame rate for the PS4 Pro version and the Xbox One version not happening soon.

It seems that Xbox users will not be getting their wish in having "NieR: Automata" ported to the Xbox One console as game producer Yosuke Saito stated in an interview that the reason why "NieR: Automata" will not be put into the Xbox One is that Japanese market for the console is not that strong, compared to the PlayStation 4.

Saito and the game developers made the decision to focus "NieR: Automata" into the PS4 console rather than split there efforts into having it launced on two consoles. Saito added that the biggest benefit they had in developing the game in one console is that they did not have to split their time, allowing them to focus on quality, devoting more effort into it for the PS4, Express reported.

Ironically, the first "NieR" was released for the Xbox 360 back in 2010. Fans of the first game will likely buy "NieR: Automata" for the PS4 or wait for the PC version to launch on March 10.

In other news, video game website Digital Foundry streamed a new gameplay video that features the a comparrison of "NieR: Automata" for the PS4 and PS4 Pro, VG 24/7 reported.

According to Digital Foundry, the PS4 Pro version of "Nier: Automata" runs at a higher resolution, features superior anti-aliasing and more visual effect. The game in the PS4 Pro will have a consistent 60fps.

The base PS4 version for "NieR: Automata" has dropped atleast 600 by 900 with no ant-aliasing. Testure work has improved in the PS4 Pro version, which gives it a slight advantage over its predecessor.

In addition, the PS4 Pro version will have a per-object motion blur which improves the animation of "NieR: Automata", being more subtle as possible. This feature is not incorporated to the standard PS4 console.

"NieR: Automata" is currently available in Japan, while the game will launch on May 7 for the PS4 and March 10 for the PC.
