While it already has some terrifying robots in its line up, it appears that Boston Dynamics is not satisfied yet. On Tuesday, the Google-owned firm released a video of its "scariest" creation yet.

There are several reasons why this robot is being described as the company's most frightening product so far.

So what makes this new addition to Boston Dynamics robots pretty scary? Read on to find out more.

Instead of giving legs to the brand new robot named Handle feet, the robotics firm opted for wheels. Therefore, to roam around, it rolls rather than walks.

While its design does not appear so appealing, it still proves that replacing the feet with wheels could bring more benefits. First, it moves faster. Second, it jumps well. Third, it can handle any terrain, and it even manages to move quicker.

Handle, a 6.5 feet tall robot, can move at a pace of nine miles per hour and can jump as high as four feet. Despite having wheels for a foot, this still do not hamper it from going down the stairs. Another exciting capability of the robot is the fact that it can lift objects weighing 100 pounds.

Battery life is not also a problem since it can go on for up to 15 miles on a single charge.

"Handle uses many of the same dynamics, balance and mobile manipulation principles found in the quadruped and biped robots we build," Boston Dynamics noted. "But with only about 10 actuated joints, it is significantly less complex. Wheels are efficient on flat surfaces while legs can go almost anywhere: by combining wheels and legs, Handle can have the best of both worlds."
