An interesting application has been spotted in Microsoft's Windows App Store and it appears that Samsung is working on a Windows 10 device named Galaxy Book. The app description does not provide a lot of details but it hints at a 2-in-1 hybrid that could rival the Microsoft Surface Book. Rumors of a Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 have been circulating online lately and the device is speculated to be launched soon.

The new app seen on the Windows Store suggests that the TabProS successor could be launched as the Galaxy Book instead of the TabPro S2. The app description reveals what the Galaxy Book's Book Settings app can do.

It includes Battery Life Extender, Screen Mode, User Manual, Pattern Log-in and other features from Samsung. It also notes that it may not work on other devices properly. According to the description, the Samsung Galaxy Book will come with an AMOLED display and active pen.

The device name suggests that it could be a hybrid and as a 2-in-1, it could be like the Lenovo Yoga Book when it comes to design. The Galaxy Book will run Windows 10 because it was seen on the Windows App Store. Samsung has already started the hype with the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 tablet and the new Galaxy Book makes this year's line-up even more exciting.

The Galaxy Book is expected to feature a neat form factor regardless whether it will be a detachable 2-in-2 or it will simply flip and fold. The Galaxy TabPro S came with a keyboard cover which could be attached to the device like the Apple Smart Keyboard and the Galaxy Book could be like that as well.

Galaxy devices usually run Android and the Samsung ATIV is reserved for Windows so this listing comes as a surprise. No further information is available now but the device could be ready for its launch soon.
