Google has recently announced that it's about to release an Android 7.1.2 build to all testers with compatible mobile devices. The update is incremental, fixes issues and improves existing features.

It will also bring a few enhancements for users and carriers. The Android 7.1.2 Beta is already rolling out for testers who have the following devices: Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Nexus Player, Nexus 5X and Pixel C. The Nexus 6P is not included yet because the company is still working on the device's beta update but Google will release it once it's ready.

Testers who are not enrolled yet may register at the Google Android beta program page and click an eligible Android handset or tablet. Enrolled users will receive the public beta via an over-the-air update in the next few days. Those who want to manually flash the update may do so.

According to Google, the final build of Android 7.1.2 is expected to be released in several months to the aforementioned eligible devices. The company confirmed that it will not come to Nexus 9 and Nexus 6 devices.

Samsung finally rolls out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge owners around the world. Owners of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones locked with U.S. networks such as T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T are already excited to know when they will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade as well.

After several false alarms and confusion about build versions, the Android 7.0 Nougat update is on its way to these four major networks. The Galaxy S7 Active was seen running Android 7.0 and this means AT&T customers could expect an update as well.

The Android Nougat will bring new features to devices, fix bugs and issues and improve overall performance. It is said to bring a tweaked UI with instant control toggles and space-efficient notifications. It comes with a quick switch and multi-window for excellent multitasking. There is a quick reply feature and notification bundling for a less cluttered control panel shade.
