"Kingdom Hearts 2.8: requires 51 objectives to complete. The guide will be about a specific objective which is the Lingering Memories. These Lingering Memories are small illuminated icons that can be seen in specific locations in the compilation such as the "Birth by Sleep."

The four main worlds of the game have these Lingering Memories which unlocking them unlocks objectives 38, 40, 45, and 50. Accomplishing them allows players to also get special items.

Unlocking the Memories:

Castle Town: The first Lingering Memory is located at the rooftop to the right of the central town square just near the shop. Going through the location can be the perfect vantage for a Shotlock. It has a logo like a neon glass slipper which is actually an indication for a special feature, something players may overlook. This will unlock a unique item for Aqua Pulse Blades.

The World Within: The second Lingering Memory is in the hub area on top of a tall pillar. Players will need to go to the right side of the room and jump on top of one of the buildings. Make sure to locate the flat and square pillar. After which, jump on to the main arch and look for a shining red dot. This will unlock a unique costume for Aqua Warrior's Arm Plate.

Forest of Thorns: The third Lingering Memory is just sitting below a Darkside that sits alone. Between its legs players can locate a tiny orange dot. This will unlock a unique headwear for Aqua Pulse Antennae.

Depths of Darkness: The last Lingering Memory is from the save point of one of the three Earth Core Heartless. Turn around and look for a crack on the left side with a stone arch over it. Slide down and from there players can see a shining purple heart on the wall. This unlocks Polka Dots, an addition to Aqua's costume.
