The new maps for "Batman: Arkham Knight's" new DLC will include famous locations in the Batman mythos that were incorporated from previous titles such as "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman : Arkham City". These maps are used in the Challenge Pack 6, formerly known as the Community Challenge Pack as Rocksteady Studios urged the gaming fans to give out suggestions on new gameplay features prior to the DLC's development.

For the Predator challenges this includes the Wayne Manor, the Sanatorium, Medical Facility and the Batcave, while Penguin's Iceberg Lounge, the Monarch Theatre and Crime Alley will be used for the Combat challenges within "Batman: Arkham Knight".

The January DLC will also include a brand new Batman skin, the Batman Incorporated and players can download it for free for both the PC and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The PC version of the DLC is out this week, but console users will receive the update next week Jan. 26.

But before Warner Bros. was able to launch the January DLC in the PC, they have released a new patch update for the PC in order on Steam to prepare gamers for upcoming DLC.

The update revealed a number of fixes within the game such as added support for the January DLC, fixes on the benchmark map that occured in the "Season of Infamy" DLC, resolved issues on some PC notebook hardware as users might need to install new Microsoft or NVIDIA hardrives, and fixes on keyboards and mouse controls.

Other issues include in-game store where free DLCs were shown "0" value, quickfire gadget attacks incorrectly executed by Red Hood, Batgirl and Harley Quinn and the standard gameplay fixes and stability improvements, VG 24/7 reported.

The January DLC could be the last DLC update for "Batman: Arkham Knight" as Rocksteady Studios will likely focus on new projects soon, but Warner Bros. hinted that a new Batman game will be in the works in the future soon.

"Batman: Arkham Knight is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and the PC platform.
