Don't be surprised if you soon start seeing ads popping up on your Facebook messenger service. If things go according to the plan, then you may have to permanently get used to seeing these ads on the popular instant messenger service.

The ads will be later tired in other countries depending on the feedback in these two countries.

Facebook, meanwhile, has assured the users that these ads will be not be disruptive, despite the fact that they gobble up huge  amount of space within the app. According to the reports, the social media giant will use 'card-style ads' with a swipeable interface.

These ads will most probably appear below the recent conversation in the app, with Facebook already assuring that these ads will not infringe into the chat conversation.

As soon as you click, these ads will tell you more about the advertised brand, or may prompt to sign-in for a new service. It could also initiate into one-to-one conversation with the brand.

The social media giant's decision to try out ads on messenger service is not surprising at all, as it has already ran out of advertising space on its main network. The pressure from investors to increase its ad revenue is also a reason why it is pushing ads into the messenger service platform.

According to a rough estimate, today approximately one billion people use Facebook messenger across the world. With billions of users under its domain, analysts believe that the messenger may prove to be new goldmine for Mark Zuckerberg's company.

However, there are usual suspects among industry experts, who believe that these ads will end up offending users and may very well have to be withdrawn, much to the embarrassment of the social media giant.
