The ZTE BA602 smartphone with a 5.5-inch display and a 3GB of RAM has been spotted on the Chinese telecommunication equipment certification center (TENAA), which is the Chinese version of the FCC in the United States.

The ZTE BA602 will be targeted towards the budget segment and is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017, scheduled next month. It has a 5.5-inch high-definition touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection laid on top to prevent from minor drops and scratches.

The ZTE BA602 is powered by an unknown quad-core chipset clocked at a speed of 1.25 GHz. It comes in three variants, namely, a 1GB in an 8GB of internal storage, a 2GB in a 16GB of built-in memory, and a 3GB of RAM in a 32GB of onboard storage on board.

The ZTE BA602 features an 8-megapixel camera at the back accompanied with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfies. It is packed with a 3000 mAh battery that could be enough to charge for an entire day on normal usage.

The ZTE BA602 is equipped with the fingerprint scanner on the rear under the camera. It measures 153.3 x 77 x 8.6 mm in dimension. It appears to be made out of plastic.

The ZTE BA602 will be available in quiet blue, phantom grey, and quicksand gold color options. However, there is still no official mention as to how much it will cost or what other countries it will be unveiled in.

To recall, the Chinese mobile manufacturer ZTE just unveiled the ZTE Blade V8 Pro at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017. The Project CSX, which is dubbed as ZTE Hawkeye, has officially made its way to the crowdfunding stage for a release later this fall.
