The ZTE Axon 7 Mini smartphone has been released in the UK via Carphone Warehouse.

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini was launched in the U.S. as a low-end variant of the flagship ZTE Axon 7. It quickly became famous for being one of the affordable high-end smartphones available on the market. It sports an all-metal body with dual front-facing speakers like its predecessor.

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini has a 5.2-inch full high-definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is a little smaller than the original ZTE Axon 7. It is powered by the Snapdragon 617 chipset. It comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear and front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, which works using a dedicated audio chip.

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory as well with added extra storage via the microSD card slot.

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with the customized MiFavor UI 4.0. It is packed with a 2705 mAh non-removable battery that is rated to give 15 hours of talk time and lasts up to 270 hours during standby mode.

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini features a 16-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/1.9 but no optical image stabilization and 4K recording. It retains the same 8-megapixel front-facing camera from the big ZTE Axon 7. It is equipped with a power button and volume rocker on the right edge as well as the SIM card slot on the left edge.

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini is priced at $315 (around Rs. 21,500 or £250) and is available in gold color. A gray color variant is listed as coming soon.
