The Xiaomi Mi MIX has a 6.4-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels. The almost bezel-less smartphone comes with an unusual 17:9 aspect ratio. It has a 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.35 GHz and coupled with Adreno 530 graphics processing unit on board. It comes in two storage variants: one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and another with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in memory.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a 16-megapixel camera at the back with phase detection autofocus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is packed with a 4400 mAh non-removable battery that also has Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX measures 158.8 x 81.9 x 7.9 mm in dimension with a weight of 209 grams. It is equipped with a circular fingerprint scanner placed on the rear and the front camera is located on the bottom edge. It has an ultrasonic proximity sensor, and a piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology speaker to transmit sound.

The white Xiaomi Mi MIX will be manufactured in limited quantities since ceramic devices are hard to produce.
