Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus Smartphone With 5.7-Inch FHD Display and 13MP Dual Rear Camera Unveiled in China

The Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus smartphone has been unveiled in China.

According to GSM Arena, the Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus sports a metal unibody design that is similar to the Mi 5S. It has a 5.7-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a pixel density of 386 ppi, and a brightness of 550 nits.

The Mi 5S Plus is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.35 GHz and coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

The Mi 5S Plus comes in two storage variants; one with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, and another with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory only. It is packed with a slightly bigger 3800 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support for fast charging in 30 minutes.

The Mi 5S Plus sports a dual camera setup that is aligned to the center on the rear. It has two 13-megapixel sensors from Sony that supports phase detection autofocus and also gives RAW output, Phone Radar reported.

One camera sensor of the Mi 5S Plus captures in monochrome mode while another sensor in red-green-blue mode. It also sports a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.

The Mi 5S Plus measures 154.6 x 77.7 x 7.95 mm with a weight of 168 grams. The device will be available for sale starting Sept. 29th in China in silver, gold, gray, and rose gold color. The 4GB RAM variant of the Mi 5S Plus will cost $344.41 (2299 Yuan) and 6GB RAM variant at $389.35 (2599 Yuan).
