The first challenge was a drag race over a quarter mile distance. The challenge took place at the Mantorp Park racing circuit in Sweden. Driving the Iron Knight was truck racing champion Oije Ovebrink, and at the wheel of the S60 Polestar was veteran race driver Thed Bjork. The Iron Knight closely won the drag race challenge besting the S60 Polestar by less than a second.

The second challenge was a 1.95-mile road course circuit, the kind of circuit that the S60 Polestar TC1 was made for which is why the organizers of the race allowed gave the Iron Knight a head start. As expected, the S60 Polestar TC1 won the circuit race.
