The main camera of the Apple iPhone 7 is a 12-megapixel shooter with a f/1/8 aperture. It comes with quad-LED flash and phase detection autofocus. Its lens also absorbs 60 percent more light than the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 7 features optical image stabilization (OIS) which helps in creating steady shots despite shaky hands.

Meanwhile, the Google Pixel comes with a 12.3-megapixel rear camera that has an f/1.0 aperture. It features a dual-LED flash, electronic image stabilization (EIS), HDR and touch focus. It appears that the Pixel is slightly better than the iPhone 7 in terms of low-light photography. Its wider lens also takes more light than the iPhone 7. See clip here

The Google Pixel features a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution. It comes with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box and is capable of split-screen windows and a battery-saving Doze mode. The phone is compatible with the Daydream View VR headset and comes with a 3,450 mAh battery source. It is also dust and water-resistant but will still be damaged when submerged in water.

The Google Pixel comes with a glass and aluminum build which looks like the HTC A9. It also has an intelligent personal assistant which functions just like the Apple iPhone's Siri. Other specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 128 GB of internal storage options. It houses a 12 MP rear camera with an 8 MP selfie snapper and also comes with a 3540 mAh battery unit with USB Type-C charging.

The Apple iPhone 7, on the other hand, is the first water-resistant and dust-proof iOS smartphone with no 3.5 mm earphone jack. It comes with the new Lightning Earpods, upgraded A10 processor and a lot of new functions and apps. The iPhone 7 sports a 7 MP selfie snapper and runs on the latest iOS 10. The iPhone 7 costs $649 USD for the 32 GB model, $749 USD for the 128 GB model and $849 USD for the 256 GB model.
