The new Gionee M2017 not only comes with dual curved display but also sports a huge battery capacity. It is packed with a whooping 7000 mAh battery that supports fast charging technology. There is no need to wait for hours to get the battery fully charged from 0 percent to 100 percent.
The Gionee M2017 has a 5.7-inch quad high-definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz and coupled with a dual-core Mali T860 graphics processing unit. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based Gionee's in-house Amigo 3.5 operating system out of the box.
The Gionee M2017 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in memory, but no option for further extending the storage. It features a 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel sensors at the back with dual tone LED flash and laser autofocus. It also comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
The Gionee M2017 supports dual SIM dual standby and supports 4G VoLTE for faster data speeds and high-definition voice calls. It sports a fingerprint scanner as well that is embedded in the home button. It can be mistaken with Samsung's SM-W2017 high-end clamshell because of the massive battery.
The Gionee M2017 measures 155.2 x 77.6 x 10.65 mm in dimension with a weight of 230 grams. The TENAA listing indicates that it will be available in just one color; black. There is still no information yet on its pricing and availability.
