Asus has launched three new desktop gaming computers under the company's Republic of Gamers brand. These new systems are tagged "VR-Ready." The high-end model sports two Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics cards and an overclocked processor.

Headlining the trio is the Asus ROG GT51CA. At the heart of this system is an overclocked Intel Core i7 6700 Skylake clocked at a speed of 4.6GHz. Thanks to Asus' preinstalled overclocking tool, a tap of a button can boost the processor's clock speed by as much as 400Mhz without the need to reboot the whole system.

This computer has two Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI configuration which means that gaming in 4K resolution should be a piece of cake for this machine. The system has 64GB of memory, and 512GB of NVMe SSDs ideal for boot, as well as 1TB hard drive of storage space.

According to Tech Radar, the tower of the ROG GT51CA has a custom LED light that changes color when the system is in turbo mode. Moreover, the computer has a custom cooling system. The system will cost around $4,999.

For gamers who want a powerful machine packed in a small form, Asus has the new ROG G20CB system. It has an Intel Core i7 Skylake processor and can be configured to have a GTX 1080 graphics card as well. It supports up to 32GB of DDR4 memory, and up to 1TB of storage space, depending on the configuration, according to Stuff.

Although the G20CB does not have a dual GTX 1080 setup, the system is powerful enough to handle the latest triple-A titles at 1080p resolution with a decent frame rate. The Asus ROG G20CB will cost $1,399.

Completing the trio is the Asus ROG G11CD. This system has an Intel Skylake processor and a GTX 1080 graphics card. Just like its two more powerful peers, it supports custom LED lighting effects. Asus did not confirm the price of this system, although looking at its basic specs, this will most likely fall into the entry-gaming niche.
