Meizu has launched its newest M3s smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone maker on Wednesday announced that its much-awaited M3s smartphone is now available for purchase on Indian e-commerce platform Snapdeal. The affordable device is priced at Rs 7999 (approx. $120) for Indian consumers.

"M3s has generated quite a buzz among our target audience and since the dynamics of Indian market is similar to any other successful market in the world, it encouraged us to rollout this stunning device here as well," Meizu India said. "Undoubtedly, we at Meizu always tend to introduce our best in class products here on priority. We firmly believe the level of acceptability m3s would get from Indian consumer will bolster our future growth plans".

The Meizu M3s smartphone, which was first launched in China in June this year, is an upgraded version of the M3 Note. The Guangdong-based consumer electronic goods company unveiled the M3 Note in India in May this year.

Meizu M3s Specifications and Features

The newest Meizu budget smartphone sports a 5-inch high-definition display screen and comes with a fully metal uni-body design. The device runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop as an operating system and is powered by MediaTek octa-core MT6750 processor.The M3s is also available in two storage variants - 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage and 3GB RAM/ 32GB. The smartphone features a 13 megapixels rear camera and a five megapixels front camera for selfies. It also has a 3,020mAh battery and comes in three colors - gold, gray, and silver.
