Apart from earning massive revenue, Pokémon Go excelled in other areas as well. The research showed that the game also cornered 45 percent of the total time spent on playing all Android games. The data reveals that Pokémon Go attracted people towards mobile gaming as many people starting playing mobile games only after Pokémon Go's introduction.

The research showed some other impressive stats as well. Pokémon Go's 90 days feat is more impressive when it is compared to another hit game Candy Crush, which took more than 200 days to reach the $600 million mark. Puzzle and Dragons achieved this feat in 400 days while Clash of Clans took 500 days.

While the popularity of the game seems to have hit a peak already, it is still going strong. In a bid to retain its loyal fans and attract new gamers, Pokémon Go has been introducing new features. For Halloween, the game is likely to come up a specialized update. The global Halloween event is likely to take place on October 31
