Tesla plans to equip its entire car fleet with the self-driving system. The company has released a video of a Model X car featuring a fully autonomous driving system.

The car is shown emerging from a garage, driving the passenger to a Tesla facility and finding itself a parking spot. This feature will be available on the Tesla Model S and Model 3 as well.

The car company has announced that all future Tesla vehicles will come with the autonomous driving system. Tesla said that the system is expected to provide a safety level which will be significantly higher than the one provided by a human driver. The company has already started producing the Model X and Model S with full-level five self-driving hardware.

Tesla also announced another feature; a revamped onboard computer. The company said that the latest version of its self-driving system is capable of providing "more than 40 times the computing power" than the previous version. The chip comes with a neural net for sonar, vision, and radar processing software. The neural net was developed by Tesla in-house.

The autonomous car giant is looking to charge $8,000 to activate the technology. The software can also be bought separately from the vehicle at $10,000. However, the software is yet to receive regulatory approval. The price tag is likely to be a benchmark for companies developing autonomous cars.

In a video released by Tesla, a car is shown with a person in the driving seat. However, Tesla emphasized that the person is required to be present only for legal reasons. It also highlighted that the car drives itself without any aid from the human being.
