Snapchat has launched a new feature called Story Playlist.

Snapchat has updated its app with a couple of new features. The social media app now has a new feature called Story Playlist which will replace Story Auto Advance.

The Auto Advance feature was introduced in March this year and met with strong criticisms.

Snap Inc., the parent company of Snapchat app, said that the new Story Playlist lets users select the Stories they want to watch. The new feature allows users to set the order in which they want to watch the Stories. The Stories may be played in full-screen mode.

To use this feature, the Story thumbnail located on the left of a person's name needs to be tapped. This will add the Story to the playlist. The playback is activated by hitting the play button located at the bottom of the screen.

Snapchat has removed its Story Auto Advance feature, which has received flak from users since its introduction. The feature automatically played the Stories of other friends once a user was done watching the Selected Stories. Users needed to go back to the Story menu manually. Instagram has a similar feature named Story Auto Advance.

The new feature is now available for some Android users. It is likely to be rolled out to other Android and iOS users shortly. The new feature is likely to increase the time users spend on the Snapchat app. It is also expected to provide a new ad monetizing avenue for the company.
