The LeEco Le Pro 3 smartphone has been launched in China. It is the world's first smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset.

The Le Pro 3 smartphone was released as part of a new series of flagship Superphones from LeEco, The Financial Express reported. It will be readily available on Sept. 28, starting 10 a.m.

According to News18, the Le Pro 3 has a 5.5-inch full high-definition display. It is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 821 chipset, making it one of the first smartphones to come with this flagship processor. It functions 10 percent better that its predecessor - the 820 chipset. It exhibits excellent GPU performance.

The Le Pro 3 runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with LeEco's eUI 5.8 on top. It has a 7.5 mm thin all-metal unibody, making it the world's thinnest smartphone with a large battery volume. It is packed with a mega 4070 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charging 3.0 fast charging support.

Unfortunately, the Le Pro 3 does not have a 3.5 mm audio jack like the recently released LeEco Le Max 2 and the LeEco Le 2. Instead, it has a bezel-less screen. The device does not also have a USB Type-C port. It also comes with LeEco's Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology.

The Le Pro 3 comes in two variants; one with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which costs $268.80 (approximately Rs. 18,000 or 1799 yuan),  and another version with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage for only $298.67 (around Rs. 20,000 or 1999 yuan). The internal storage of the device is not expandable. It supports two nano SIM cards.

The Le Pro 3 features a 16-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, phase detection autofocus, and an aperture of f/2.0. It also features an 8-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera for selfies. It has an AnTuTu score of 163,594.

Registration for the LeEco Le Pro 3 started on Sept. 21. The device would go on sale on Sept. 28 on LeMall, JD.com, TMall, and Sunning in China.
