iBall Technologies has launched its latest Slide series tablet - the Slide Cuboid - in India for Rs 8,999 ( around $134). The device is now available in retail stores across the country.

The latest iBall tablet is powered by a quad-core processor, a Mali-400 GPU, and runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The iBall Slide Cuboid is a 4G enabled device which supports 21 Indian regional languages for keyboard inputs. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD.

The iBall Slide Cuboid comes with a massive 4500mAh Li-Polymer battery. It sports an 8-inch high definition display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixel. It also features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

The Indian tech manufacturing firm also unveiled a wide range of colorful earphones, iBall Colorsticks. The new iBall earphones are available in six colors; white, black, green, pink, blue and orange and are priced at Rs 675 (around $10).

"Our newest range is exclusive to the festive season," iBall's chief executive officer Sandeep Parasrampuria said. "iBall Colorstick earphones not only serves as the perfect gifting option but also is the perfect balance of good looks and functionality with no compromise in sound.Whatever your mood is, we color your music."

In May, iBall launched India's cheapest laptop - the iBall Compbook Excelance- at Rs 9,999 ( approx $149). The Compbook Excelance is powered by a 1.83GHz Intel quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It packs a 10,000mAh battery and comes with 32GB of internal memory.
