Nikon has released a line of action cameras at the Photokina Show in Cologne, Germany. Nikon unveiled three new camera models that have different capacities.

Nikon released new details about the highly-anticipated KeyMission 360, and unveiled two more models; the KeyMission 170 and 80, according to The Verge. The names of the camera models indicate the field of vision (FOV) that each possesses.

The KeyMission 360 is a 360-degree camera that uses two lenses to capture 4K video. Each lens has an aperture of f2.0, and a 20-megapixel CMOS sensor, allowing it to capture good-quality footage.

The 360 is rugged, and is waterproof up to a depth of 98 feet, shockproof up to 6.6 feet, and can be used in cold temperatures reaching 14 degrees Fahrenheit. The Nikon KeyMission 360 is priced at $499.

The KeyMission 170 is a small, rounded rectangular camera that has its lens placed on its side. It uses an 8.3-megapixel CMOS sensor to capture 4K UHD footage from a 170-degree FOV and features vibration reduction for 1080p footage. It has a small non-touch LCD screen at the back and features three buttons for navigating through the menu and settings.

Like the 360, the KeyMission 170 is shockproof up to 6.6 feet and can also be used at 14 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it is only waterproof up to 33 feet. However, there is a special housing that enables it to be used to a depth of 131 feet underwater, PCmag reported. The KeyMission 170 costs $399.

The Nikon KeyMission 80, the smallest of the three, only boasts of an 80-degree FOV but has a 12MP front and 5MP back camera; perfect for adventurers or life bloggers who love taking selfies. It can capture 1080p video, which can be viewed on its 1.75-inch touchscreen LCD.

The 80 is waterproof up to 3.2 feet, shockproof to 6 feet, and can also be used in cold temperatures. It is priced at $279.

All three cameras are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled, and can be connected to iOS and Android phones using Nikon's Snapbridge app. The devices are set to hit the market next month.
