Tech company Panasonic has unveiled its new LUMIX FZ2500 digital camera. The company has also unveiled new models to update its existing units.

The new Panasonic Lumix FZ2500, which was unveiled at the recently-held Photokina Show in Cologne, Germany, is designed to cater to professional photo and video enthusiasts, The Verge reported. It features the newly-developed 20x optical zoom Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens, allowing the camera to capture excellent details of either photos or videos.

In a press release, Panasonic said that the FZ25000 is capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second, as well as Full-HD video at a high rate of 200 or 100 Mbps. It can also take still shots at up to 12 fps.

The new FZ2500 is basically the new, fixed-lens version of the famous G4. It will be sold for $1,199 starting December.

Panasonic also introduced the new Lumix G85, which has many of the features of the earlier-released GX85, albeit with a bigger, dust- and splash-resistant body.

The G85 features a new 2.36-million dot OLED viewfinder and a 3-inch touchscreen. It retains the GX85's 16-megapixel sensor, 5-axis image stabilizer, and 4K video recording capabilities. Panasonic will sell the G85 body for $899, and with a 12-60mm lens kit for $999 starting this October.

Panasonic also unveiled the new Lumix LX10, which is basically a new version of the LX7. It uses a 20-megapixel 1-inch sensor similar to the one used by the ZS100. It boasts of an all-metal body, 5-axis image stabilization, and a 24-72mm lens. The camera can capture 4K video at 30 fps, and 1080 video shots at 120 fps.

Panasonic will make the LX10 available for $699 starting November.
