'The Witcher 3' DLC Update: CD Projekt RED Tease A Complex Storyline, Memorable Villain For 'Blood And Wine'; Latest Patch Update Fixes Problems In 'Hearts Of Stone' Expansion!

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature a more complex storyline and memorable villain for the "Blood and Wine" DLC and the new patch update fixes problems within "Hearts of Stone".

CD Projekt RED released the new patch 1.12 this week for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC platforms as the patch size is very much huge at 1.4 GB and it features some of fixes for several glitches found in the sequel's gameplay.

The main game fixes includes such as disappearance of quickslots when the game's difficulty is changed, unintended regeneration of Stamina were in attacks performed on nearby NPC, potion effects on Chort decoction, monster next respawn after it is destroyed, enemies not killed despite vitality being empty and many more.

The new patch 1.12 update also had a number of fixes for the glitches within game's first expansion "Hearts of Stone" like the "Wild Rose Dethorned" achievement not being completed, diagrams not being collected in "Ofier's Distant Shores" quest, several players prevented from spreading smoke throughout the rooms in the "Dead Man's Party" quest and swapping of enchanted gear within the inventory granted permanent bonuses of statistics, GearNuke reported.

There are also a several enhancements of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts" stability, game enhancements and difficulty settings. With numerous fixes and enhancement within "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", not to mention the "Hearts of Stone" expansion, gamers will be satisfied with the number of changes for the game until the release of its second expansion, "Blood and Wine".

In other news, CD Projekt RED revealed new details for the "Blood and Wine" DLC as the game's Senior Story Writer Jakub Szamalek explained what gamer's will expect for the new expansion.

Szamalek stated in an interview that "Blood and Wine" DLC will have more complex plot details than the main story and "Hearts of Stone", even teasing it will be a whole new seperate continuity. Szamalek was confident that he and his team are making a better story for game since "Blood and Wine" will be the last expansion for the sequel thanks to the several feedbacks they have received from gaming fans.

CD Projekt RED also teased a more memorable main antagonist for "Blood and Wine" as they felt that they did not make a more charismatic villain and are focus on creating and developing such character repeating the same formula on "Hearts of Stone", WCFFTech reported.

"Blood and Wine" will feature Geralt travelling to the mysterious region of Touissant as the peaceful kingdom hides a dark secret. The new DLC will feature new monsters, characters based on the game's novel and modkit tools.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
