With the "Pokémon GO" craze declining, Niantic Labs is set to release a new update that would open the window for a new experience for gamers. The Trading Feature would enable gamers to trade Pokémon.

A Reddit user discovered the Trading Feature after checking out the "Pokémon GO" Terms of Service. According to the Redditor, it looks like players can trade items by giving them to a Pokémon to hold in the game.

From the screenshot provided by the Redditor, as opposed to Virtual Money or Virtual Good, Trading Items are acquired at no extra cost during the gameplay. The Trading Items may be exchanged with other account holders for other items, although Trading Items cannot be sold or exchanged for real money or goods.

Niantic Labs stated in the Terms of Service that it reserves the right to delete any illegally traded items from the account, which implies that gamers cannot trade items through a third-party app. The game developer has the right to cancel any Trading Items sold or exchanged in violation of the terms.

The upcoming trading feature would be advantageous for players who need to fill up their Pokédex with missing characters. It is also a cheap way of getting other in-game items during gameplay. Furthermore, the feature saves a lot of time in playing "Pokémon GO" since players do not have to go far to find the missing monsters in their collection.

Besides the trading feature, the new update would also enable gamers to choose a Pokémon in the game and assign it as their trainer's friend. The Pokémon would follow the trainer and collect candies to evolve. Other features in the new update include a new type of incense that would attract specific Pokémon to a location.
