The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could feature an Ultra HD Display with a 3,840 x 2,160 pixels screen resolution and 4K quality. It is expected to be a game-oriented laptop because of its AMD graphics processor Polaris or NVIDIA Pascal. Rumor have it that the Surface Pro 5's battery-powered stylus would be replaced with a Surface Pen. It is still unclear when the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 would be released. However, many expected it to hit the market in October.

On the other hand, the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is likely to be released later this year, and it could come with several improvements from its predecessors. Apple previously teased the tech community about upcoming radical changes like an ultra-fast second-gen USB 3.1 with a transfer speed pegged at up to 10GB per second. According to GameNGuide, the OLED touch bar could replace the function keys while Thunderbolt 3 remains a possibility.

Other expected features include the new Intel Skylake platform which provides higher CPU power and better battery capacity. The Apple Touch ID fingerprint sensor is also expected to be part of the upcoming laptop. However, there are speculations that Apple would release the MacBook Pro 2016 in 2017 instead of this year.
